We are a veterans organization that serves the community and has a hall available for public rental.

What We Do

Nutley's American Legion has been serving the Veterans of Nutley and the surrounding communities since 1919.

Our organization is dedicated to defending our Constitution and preserving the American way of life through community involvement and the education of our youth. 

We work closely with the rest of our legion family (SAL Squadron 70, Auxiliary Unit 70) the community and the American Legion hierarchy to achieve our goals.

How YOU Can Help

The Post is seeking sponsors for our Boys State program ($185 per boy) and our two Legion Baseball teams ($200).  A donation of any amount would be appreciated.

We also visit the East Orange VA Hospital and conduct Ward parties for the patients on the 4th Monday of each month.  If you can donate an items or funds for these efforts, or if you would like to visit the hospital with us, please contact us.
